Hello and WELCOME to YLAC'S 2021

Eco Art Market Call for Submissions

​

We are looking for artists/creators who make one-of-a-kind creations! Your work does not need to be made out of only recycled water bottles, but has to have some consideration of sustainability that makes it eco-conscious/friendly.

​

Artists will be chosen based on a thorough, clear submission, eco-requirements met, and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The quicker you get your submission form in, the better chance you have to be a part of the market. Due to the short time frame, we will be assessing submissions as they come in and do our best to get back to you right away.

WHO: York Lane Art Collective

 

WHAT:  An Eco Art Market, featuring artists, creators, artisans selling their eco-concious/friendly creations

 

WHERE: York Lane Art Collective’s new pop up space @ 390 Douro Street, Stratford, ON. (Same building as Sinvention!)

 

WHY: We would love to see artists, creators and artisans have a chance to show and sell their creations this Holiday Season in a funky, curated space. 

 

WHEN:

OPEN CALL : October 25th

SUBMISSIONS DUE : November 15th

INSTALLATION : November 22nd - 28th

MARKET OPENS: December 3rd - 24th

MARKET HOURS(APPROX): Thursday-Sunday 11am-6pm

How will you display your work? (Artists are responsible for their own hardware/table(s)/props etc..

How is your work ECO-friendly/conscious?

The submission fee is a non-refundable, $25. This helps contribute to our labour costs for curating and installing, as well as social media promotion. We will be contributing funds to media distribution. Artists who are selected to be in the market will receive social media content, marketing and press. 

 

This is not a market where you will be standing behind a table selling your work. The space will be curated like a shop and there will be one MAIN checkout.

​

If chosen to be a part of the market, York Lane Art Collective will be taking a 25% commission of all things sold during the market time. This commission goes toward our labour costs, running hours for the space, marketing promotion and more. Thank you :)
